Food and Biltong Tender Form

1. The minimum tender amount per food or biltong stall will be R3,000. The full amount must accompany
   your tender. No tender will be considered without the full payment.
2. During the valuation of the tenders the highest tender will be accepted. The final decision will be made by
   Management and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the matter.
3. Please include photos of your stand and a full price list of items to be sold.
4. The closing date for tenders will be Wednesday 11 th January 2023 at 12h00. You will be notified if your tender was successful/ unsuccessful.
5. The deposit will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants before or on 13th January 2023.
6. A maximum of four (4) exhibitor’s tickets is included in the tender amount. Make provision in your budget should you require more tickets. Additional tickets will be obtainable at the Festival office at the normal tariff of R80 per day. The entry fee for people 65 years and older will be R20 per day
7. Two (2) vehicle tickets will be allocated to food and biltong stalls. It will be part of the tender amount.
8. All food and biltong stalls are allowed to sell soft drinks and water.
9. Warm drinks are only allowed to be sold by the main caterer in the Main hall, the food stall in the Farmers hall and the exhibitors who booked a stall specifically for hot drinks.
10. The rules and regulations of the Newcastle Health Department must be complied with.
11. Please inform the office as soon as possible if you will require 3 phase electricity. No heaters, two plate stoves and kettles are allowed to be used.
12. Indicate the size stall you will need please.
